Eloise is a writer, actress and drama practitioner.

Having gained an honours degree in Theatre Studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, she went on to be awarded a Postgraduate Acting Diploma at the Guildford School of Acting.

More recently she has begun a career as a writer and has gained an MA in Creative and Media Writing (with distinction) at Swansea University.

Her poetry, stories and plays have appeared in many publications and on stage and she is delighted to have had her poetry performed by Shobna Gulati (Coronation Street) at the 'Body Gossip' Edinburgh show to raise money for BEAT, the leading UK charity for helping people with eating disorders.

Eloise's story Ed has been chosen to feature in Honno's forthcoming anthology All Shall Be Well, out in May 2012. Published to celebrate Honno's 25th anniversary this collection brings together a selection of the best of Welsh Women's writing taken from commissioned anthologies from every decade of Honno's working life. Speaking of the 25 pieces chosen for the anthology, editors Penny Thomas and Stephanie Tillotson said:

"All the pieces here are characterised by skill, be that a skill in story-telling, or dexterity in language, rhetorical or aesthetic, a talent for drawing the reader into an experience, or an ability to create a sense of time or place."


Eloise's poem The Only Body I Have has been chosen from Body Gossip's National Writing Competition to feature in their first ever book.
