My new book WILDE has just been announced so I am finally allowed to talk about it! Eek and arrgghhhh and ooh and I am so excited!

I don’t want to tell you too much because I want it to be a surprise but I can tell you that it is based on lots of things that begin with the letter W!

I’ve been fascinated by witches for as long as I can remember, so I’m very happy to get a chance to write a story about them!
This is Sgwd yr Eira (Falls of Snow) waterfall in the Brecon Beacons National Park. You can walk behind it! It’s an amazing experience!
Wales! We dressed in traditional Welsh costume at school on St. David’s Day. My sister is bottom left and I am in the top row on the right. I win the prize for the frilliest hat!
Wildflowers and wildlife.
We are so lucky to be surrounded by nature and I’m doing everything I can to celebrate it and preserve it. I know that you are too!
It’s fun looking after the buzzers and snufflers, womblers and waders, ambling through meadows filled with flowers and making wishes on dandelion clocks isn’t it? Lucky, lucky us!
This is a card which a group of children made for me after I’d worked with them for a few days. We’d been discussing individuality and how it’s important to be yourself, and not try to change yourself to fit in with other people’s expectations.
I told them I was happy to be myself, and if people think I’m weird then I’m happy to be weird!

Wilde is coming in spring 2020. One ‘W’ I don’t like is waiting…

Worried Williams is my effort at a pumpkin from last Halloween. He is worried about waiting for Wilde but it won’t be long Worried Williams, WON’T BE LONG…
